During the past December 2004 we were saddened by the loss of our own; George O’Neill. George was married and father of two. George will be sorely missed. George O was our Warehouse Manager/Purchasing Agent. But George ran our warehouse and George covered your back. He was the only person I ever met that you had to be careful what you said to him regarding a need perhaps on the jobsite cause if you turned around he was already gone…out the door and on his way! Many times we’d have to call him back. Not yet George!

George will be remember and not forgotten. He loved his family. I spend my time on a scaffold scrapping asbestos ceilings with him as my partner. He was the hardest work I ever met. He loved his work. I went fishing with George and after to much consumption all we ever caught was a cold! But I’ll never forget the time together. I went on a motorcycle trip with George on our Harleys and we consumed, camped and too a trip back in time to his young stomping grounds where he grew up… Paonia, CO. He loved Paonia.

Naturally George had a different relationship with each of us. But one thing is for sure; George did not suffer from any identity crisis. George was George. George was family to us. For me he also was someone I’d got to, go and talk with, bounce things off of. I could yell at George and then we talk about it. I will miss him. He was with us every day and then one day he is gone…Today and everyday we continue to have fond and loving memories of George.
